Article 1: S.D.Correcaminos organizes the XX Valencia’s Half Marathon, on November 21st 2010.
Article 2: The XX Valencia’s Half Marathon, a urban, flat race of 21.097,50 meters is open to all athletes, federated or not, being able to participate foreigners that satisfy RFEA and IAAF rules, provided they are older than 18 years the day of the race. The circuit is certified by AIMS/RFEA/IAAF. Each kilometre is signalized with a panel.
Article 3: Start will be given at 9:30 a.m. and the race closes at 12:00 p.m., with a 2 hours 30 minutes maximum allowed official time.To access to the start line the runner’s will pass according to the bip number colour.
Organization will provide the cloakroom service in star and finish line and the WC will be in the finish line and at 10km.
Article 4: Entries are open from April 15th to November 8th,2010 (included).
Entry forms with receipt of payment must be sent to:

From Entries after time limit (if available): 25 €
CHIP DEPOSIT: When the chip is picked up in the Expo, the runner will have to pay a 5€ deposit that will be paid back by the Organisation the day of the race at the finish area. The runner will be able to give back the chip in S.D. Correcamino’s offices until Dicember 10th 2010.
CLUB REGISTRATIONS:To opt to a trophy in team’s category as well of being registered individually you will need to fill in a formulary habilited for this purpose. [GO TO THE FORMULARY OF TEAM REGISTRATIONS]
Article 5: A 50% of the registration price will be given back to the runner in case of an illness or injury, if he presents to the club’s offices (S.D. Correcaminos- Arzobispo Fabián y Fuero, 14b, 46009 Valencia- Spain) a medical certification before October 29th 2010. No money will given back in any other circustances.

Article 9: Race numbers and chips will be delivered exclusively at the Half Marathon Expo (Valencia Port) , Tiglado nº 4 (C/ Ingeniero Manuel Soto), on Friday, 20º Nov (from 16:30 to 20 hours) and on Saturday 21º Nov (from10 to 20:30 hours). No race numbers nor chips will be delivered on race day. An identity document (passport, DNI, Driver license, etc.) is mandatory to get the race number, no exceptions.
The course will be controlled by Mylaps system. Only will be shown at the classification those runners who have the chip (Mylaps) either the one that organization provides or the one that runner indicate at entry form.
In the first case the runners should give the chip back to the organization at the arrival line and the 5€ deposit will be given back.
Article 10: Race numbers are personnel and not transferable. They should be carried on chest side , free to be easily checked by judges. Chip is also personnel and not transferable, and should be tied on your shoes cords. Non-compliance of this article may result on a punitive action by judges.
It is forbidden to get into the race without race number and chip, any runner in this conditions can be throw out from the course in order to preserve other enrolled runners rights.
Athletes may be disqualified by either official Judges and/or Race Medical Services as follows:
Any athlete who shows a bad physical state.
Any athlete who does not complete the full race distance.
Any athlete who does not show bip number and/or chip.
Any athlete who has altered his identity card data.
Any athlete who violate any FACV, RFEA or IAAF’s rules.
No runners without bip number and chip are allowed in the race, and the organization will remove them to protect official registered runners.
Race organization or Local Police officials are empowered to withdraw during the race runners who are exceeding by more than 5 minutes the time limit set by the organization at each Km step.

Article 11: Circuit is signalized with a blue line and sings posted each Km. There will be three water stations, approximately at kilometres 5, 10 and 15, there will be also a special water station at the arrival.
Between these water stations it will be placed fresh stations.

Article 12: Medical services and ambulances are coordinated by the Correcaminos Medical Team, located at the following points: at the Finish line and in the kilometres 5, 10 and 15, close to every water station and closing the course beside to the finish course car.
Runners with any medical potential problem (allergies, special attentions, etc) are requested to inform about it at the race number collect counter.
Article 13: As the XX Valencia’s Half Marathon is an official IAAF international race, a doping test control will be made. Doping control is mandatory, and runners not accepting it will be automatically disqualified and a formal report sent to all Athletics Federations concerned. Consequently, athletes with prices in cash must wait until doping control tests are available before to obtain the prizes.
Article 14: The only vehicles authorized to follow the race are the special organization ones. It is forbidden to follow runners in motorcycle, bicycle, skates or any another vehicle or arrive with children. Local Police has express order to withdraw them from the circuit to avoid accidents.
Article 15: Claims should be directed exclusively to Referee Judges, within a 30 minutes lead-time after having published preliminary results, verbally in a first instance, if this claim is rejected it could be presented a written claim to the Appeal Judges join with a 100€ deposit that will be returned if the resolution is favourable. If there is no Appeal Judge the Referee Judge’s decision will be the final. If something is not specified at these rules IAAF, RFEA and/or FACV are in charge to make final decisions.
Article 16: By entering in the race, runners declare to do it free and voluntarily, fully accepting completely the rules set for this race, and declare to be in good physical condition, assuming the corresponding risk due to this running sport practice.
Article 17: By registering to Valencia’s Half Marathon, the runners alow to Investigación y Desarrollo de Iniciativas Empresariales S. L, ADIDAS and S.D. Correcaminos, by their own or with other organizations, to use with an sportive, promotional or comercial reasons their personal details.
In order with organic law 15/1999 on dicember 13th, of personal detail protection, the participant has the rignt to accede to this information and modificate or delete it. To do this they will need to send a request to S.D. Correcaminos, (C/ Arzobispo Fabián y Fuero, 14- 46009 Valencia).
In the same way all the people registered alow publication of photos, classifications, etc by any way and without time limit where their image or their details appear.
*The organization reserves its right to make changes in the present regulation if considered necessary. In that case, changes will be published on the web as well as into the runner information.
